At Flottsbro outdoor area you can spend a lot of quality time! We offer activities, accommodation and a cooling beach for lazy summer days. Want to get away from the city? Rent a Canadian and paddle of on an adventure, experience Swedish summer and the tranquility of the water.
For a longer experience, you can head out to Lake Mälaren, spend the night on an island in a tent, or why not rent a cabin or campsite and head out early on a summer morning?
Rental details and booking
We have 30 Canadians with room for up to 3 people. Each canoe includes two paddles and life jackets for each person.
All paddling is at your own risk.
Drop-in booking is possible during Flottsbro Värdshus business hours: the inn’s opening hours.

Spacious campsite near Stockholm – We found the site to be very quiet and pleasantly spacious during the low season. The sanitary facilities are perfectly adequate, and the pitches are very large, although not completely level. There is access to a public beach with swimming opportunities. Ideal for a one-night or multi-night stay, at least during the low season.

Can’t really ask for more just 30 mins from Stockholms city center. 4 main tracks plus some variations. One can find from beginner trails up to crazy big gaps. Really nice and friendly stuff. Pay it a visit if you can, it’s worth it.

A great place for the whole family! The family came here primarily to ride downhill but discovered that there was more to do. We had booked a cabin of about 25 sqm, which had an okay standard for the low price of 1200 SEK per night. The downhill trails were very good and varied.

It doesn’t get much better than this—family-friendly with a sand court for volleyball. Drinking water is available, and you can swim if you like. If you want to reach the top, there is an incredibly beautiful view from above.

Good value, and with a car it’s close to the commuter train. It’s a cabin on a campsite, and it works well if you want cheaper accommodation while still being close to the city. Lovely in the summer with a slope for biking/dirt biking.

We were a family with adult children who rode the downhill cars, and everyone had big smiles when they came down in their little soapbox car. The instructions and safety were excellent, and yes, it was fun. A really cool activity area that also had camping cabins and a simple inn.

Five stars for being in Stockholm. Flottsbro is by far Stockholm’s best slope. But of course, you can’t compare it to real ski resorts. However, I did try staying overnight in Flottsbro with some friends. We skied from 12:00 to 22:00 on the first day, then cooked dinner and stayed up until 3 watching TV.

By far the best slope in the Mälaren Valley, and considering the circumstances, the conditions are usually very good. The constantly changing temperatures are, of course, hard to do anything about. A huge plus is also the positive staff. Great to see!

This is my home slope. The pistes are maintained very well given the challenging conditions caused by precipitation and temperature in this part of the country. Hardly any queues, even when it’s crowded. The slopes themselves aren’t much to talk about, but they are well kept and perfect for practising technique and preparing for more demanding adventures in other parts of the world.

Cozy little cottage at a campsite a bit out in the woods. Surprisingly good standard of the cottage. Clean and fresh with a comfortable double bed. A bit crowded if you are more than 2 but it works. Nice campsite with large spaces. Good with walking opportunities for those who have a dog. Happy to return.
