Flottsbro is an outdoor recreation area and campsite located in Huddinge, just south of Stockholm. Here, you’ll find cozy cabins, camping with motorhome pitches, and a wide range of activities for the whole family.

Traditionally, Flottsbro is best known for its ski slope — the highest in the Stockholm region — but the area offers so much more. Enjoy biking in one of Sweden’s top-rated bike parks, or explore the surrounding forests and lakes for a variety of outdoor adventures.

We are a member of Swecamp, a network of nine independent campsites. At Flottsbro, you can combine outdoor experiences with overnight stays in cabins or on a campsite, creating unforgettable memories with your loved ones. All Swecamp sites are affiliated with SCR, The Swedish Camping branch organisation.

Spacious campsite near Stockholm – We found the site to be very quiet and pleasantly spacious during the low season. The sanitary facilities are perfectly adequate, and the pitches are very large, although not completely level. There is access to a public beach with swimming opportunities. Ideal for a one-night or multi-night stay, at least during the low season.

Can’t really ask for more just 30 mins from Stockholms city center. 4 main tracks plus some variations. One can find from beginner trails up to crazy big gaps. Really nice and friendly stuff. Pay it a visit if you can, it’s worth it.

Five stars for being in Stockholm. Flottsbro is by far Stockholm’s best slope. But of course, you can’t compare it to real ski resorts. However, I did try staying overnight in Flottsbro with some friends. We skied from 12:00 to 22:00 on the first day, then cooked dinner and stayed up until 3 watching TV.

This is my home slope. The pistes are maintained very well given the challenging conditions caused by precipitation and temperature in this part of the country. Hardly any queues, even when it’s crowded. The slopes themselves aren’t much to talk about, but they are well kept and perfect for practising technique and preparing for more demanding adventures in other parts of the world.

Cozy little cottage at a campsite a bit out in the woods. Surprisingly good standard of the cottage. Clean and fresh with a comfortable double bed. A bit crowded if you are more than 2 but it works. Are you open all year around?

Yes, and there’s always something exciting to discover, such as skiing, hiking, and cycling.

Bike Park
When does the Bike Park open?

Flottsbro’s Bike Park aims to be open from May to November, but the exact opening and closing dates depend on the weather. As we get closer to the opening date, we will announce it on our website and social media channels.

Can I check in after the campsite’s opening hours?

Yes, it is possible to check in after the campsite’s opening hours, but you must notify us about your late arrival during our opening hours.

What is the best way from the Camping to Stockholm City?

The fastest way to get into Stockholm is by car. Do you have a motorhome or do you feel uncomfortable driving in Stockholm? Then you can park your car in the parking garage “Forellgaraget” by Huddinge Centrum. From Huddinge, take the commuter train into town.

Ask our staff about the itinerary and parking on arrival.

Do you have charging stations for electric cars?

Yes, there are charging stations both in the external parking area and at the campsite.

We want to grill/barbecue; do you have barbecue areas and firewood?

There are many barbecue areas at Flottsbro, and during the winter we provide firewood. Just let one of our lift attendants know, and they will help you.

What can I do to avoid long queues at the rental shop?

On beautiful winter days, we often reach maximum capacity, which means there may be queues at the rental shop. To avoid waiting too long, we recommend booking your equipment online no later than 6:00 PM the day before your visit.

We want to bring our own food to the slopes. Is there somewhere we can eat/heat it?

Yes, we have a packed-lunch room with a microwave that accommodates around 50 people. On beautiful winter days when we have many visitors, the room can get full, so please be considerate of others.

Please note that you are not allowed to eat your own food in the restaurant’s dining area, as that space is reserved for paying guests.

When does the ski slope open up?

The ski resort opens on Friday 9 January at 5:00 PM. See our opening hours for details.

Do you have dog friendly cottages?

Yes, all our cabin types are dog-friendly. Just add the pet fee (250 SEK) when booking, and your four-legged friend is more than welcome!

Are the cottages good for children?

All cabins are child-friendly, with no stairs or level differences. Stepping straight out into nature instead of Stockholm city offers a calmer and more affordable option for families with children.
