Safety guidelines and requirments for drivers
The vehicle
The car is a steel construction that weighs about 150 kg, is 2.5 m long, 1.5 m wide and you sit comfortably in a padded driver’s seat.
Driver
Age limit 12 years (in adult company) and minimum height 150 cm.
Equipment
We have overalls, raincoats and helmets for loan.

The driver undertakes to follow instructions and rules and is
aware that all riding is at his own risk!
Before driving:
- Take a seat in your assignated vehicle
- Adjust the seat so that you can reach the brake. Test the brake to get a feel for the resistance.
- Fasten your seatbelt. First at your waistline and thereafter over your shoulders.
- When you are ready, call the staff who will help you down to the lift.
The transport up the hill
- Stear your vehicle under the liftline, DO NOT HIT THE BREAKS!
- The pulling line will autoumatically fall off as you pass underneath the bar by the middle of the hill.
- Don’t push the breaks until you are out on the slope. You will get stuck.
The ride downhill:
- The timing starts as soon as you go underneath the bar.
- If it is your first ride, start out by trying out the breaks and get a feel for the vehicle.
- Adjust your speed according to your ability and the weather conditions.
- Avoid any contact with the curbes at the inner turns.
- It is prohibited to pass other drivers in the track.
- The timers stops as you pass by the goal
- Pass past the pit area safely at low speed
- Stay in the pit area after finnishing your last drive.
Special instructions:
• If you go off the track, try to roll out on your own again, e.g. make
a t turn and cut over the grass to the next corner. Cars that are in the track have
priority.
• If you cannot roll out into the track yourself, you will remain in the car. Wait in the car until
staff comes to the rescue DO NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR
• Stop immediately if the lift rope comes loose during the journey. Reverse backwards obliquely if possible, so that those behind can pass. We will stop the lift

At Flottsbro we offer outdoor experiences and activities for day visitors and holiday guests all year round. During the winter, we run Stockholm’s largest ski resort with four slopes, a children’s slope and challenges skiers of all levels. In the summer you can, among other things, cycle downhill and MTB, hike, canoe, fish, swim and much more!

Flottsbro Bike Park is one of Swedens largest Bike Park and located only 30 minutes from the Stockholm city center! Come, and experiences great biking trails, beautiful nature and service minded staff!

Close to Flottsbro, just 20 minutes from central Stockholm, you’ll find Häggsta and Örnberget – two of the city’s most popular outdoor climbing crags.

Yes, we have a wide range of equipment. During the summer you can rent downhill bikes, and in winter we offer Stockholm’s largest ski rental.

The fastest way to get into Stockholm is by car. Do you have a motorhome or do you feel uncomfortable driving in Stockholm? Then you can park your car in the parking garage “Forellgaraget” by Huddinge Centrum. From Huddinge, take the commuter train into town.
Ask our staff about the itinerary and parking on arrival.
